If you find yourself criticizing other people, you're probably doing it out of resistance. When we see others beginning to live their authentic selves, it drives us crazy if we have not lived out our own.- Steve Pressfield in "The War of Art". Posted by Picasa

It's so difficult to watch television and see the horrific weather conditions unfolding once again in the gulf region. My heart hurts for those people in need, afraid, and in complete despair, stuck out on the slow moving freeways and those that stayed behind for whatever reasons. We try and do what we can through donations and so forth, but it's all such a sinking feeling.
I pray and try to wish away the weather patterns... Is it a fierce cycle or a global warming effect? Either way it teachs us all that we MUST find a way to adapt and learn to coexist with the natural forces of our planet. It existed well before humanity came along, aside from what one might consider mother nature to be, it has no consciousness, it simply throws itself out there upon us without regard to anything in it's way. Please say a prayer for those in need.

Happy Birthday Baby.... I Love You So Much !!!!!! Posted by Picasa

Bizarre Bug, Bizarre Dream too...

I had the most bizarre dream last night, I drempt I had caught a very rare insect from the outback and kept it in a cage in my livingroom so I could listen to it's unique sound. I didn't want to kill it, because it was a collectors item and great conversation piece. It put all the crickets in Palm Springs to shame. As I left my house and walked out into the yard I was watching Robin Williams co-star from "The Bird Cage" paint a portrait of a woman. He was teaching a class and I was the only one that showed up, he said," you know I really appreciate it when people actually show up to my classes". He painted very loosely and gave me great tips, before long we were painting along side each other and having a blast. Lol...

-Feeling bad for the residents of New Orleans today, my prayers are with them to make it safely through the hurricane.

I snapped a shot of a pretty little robin as the sun rose on a cloudy morning. The italian cypress tree was a regular spot for him.  Posted by Picasa
