My little Eros... He was looking so peaceful yesterday, I had to shoot a pic of him. He sits about 2ft. tall and weighs probably 50 lbs. He sits next to my water fountain. Posted by Hello

I have a dear friend that is expecting a baby in a couple months, I'm working on a baby blanket for her soon to be baby girl. That satin stuff is tough to sew on BTW, should of went flannel but it just doesn't have the same feel or effect. I'm 1/2 way there I think... should have went easier on the lace too. I'll post a pic.

This little parrot I love, I met him in Puerto Vallarta while my daughter was swimming with the dolphins at a resort for kids. He was so patient with me while I shot 10 or so pic's of him. The local birds always FReAk OuT ~'~ when I point a camera at them, I think it must be something instinctual for them to take off when
something with a hole on the end is pointed their way... Perhaps ancesterial coding ???---"Dead birds can't fly anymore if someone points a gun at you so fly"--- They didn't mention the good stuff to "hold still for camera shots", that could immortalize them forever. :-)

Prelim 4-2005 - This is a quick sketch for my next painting. Still trying to determine the canvas size to use. Posted by Hello

Unique and Unusual

http://postsecret.blogspot.com/

I stumbled upon this blog today and haven't seen anything like it, lol....
Amazing, you should take a peek.

I also found a wonderous musician named " Lily Wilson" from Napa Valley. If you like Sarah Maclachlin, Shawn Colvin or Sheryl Crow you'll love this lady. You can sample her stuff on Napster downloads. Very soothing with an angelic soul. Morning Light & 10,000 miles beautiful songs..... I get so happy when I discover new music I can paint by, absorb and feel deep within.- www.lilywilson.com

Have a great Sunday

These pretty little flowers are blooming outside my front door. I believe them to be Azalea's. I love the way the late afternoon light presented them. Posted by Hello

Tree Line Drive by Woodhouse Bridge....  Posted by Hello

Tree Line Drive

There's something about this place that keeps me coming back to it and rephotographing it, I love it and think of often. There is a quaint 2-story
house at the end of this tree line drive and I like to imagine I've lived there
before, walking down the narrow road with My sweet love holding my hand or maybe a warm cup of coffe for a early morning stroll. It'll be even prettier when the oak leaves wake up.

My mind is churning, trying to decide all the hows of my new painting.... So many decisions, so much fun !!!! The composition is still fragments in my head but it's beginning to take shape, time to get it on paper.

No wonder my mouth is watering.....

Dinner is in the oven, and I've got a beautiful glass of Chardonnay sitting beside me this evening. Trying to entice me to gather up the Mr. to take us out dancing tonight, I think I've got him convinced :-))

I'm calling the painting pretty much finished, the light I've been photographing her isn't very good, she looks much better in the right light, doesn't everyone though ?? :-) I am so jazzed to begin my new piece, it's somewhat of a self-portrait, just the other side of me. I am fascinated by the gorgeous paintings of J Lipking for such a young lot, he certainly knows how to paint a booty very well.
Enough said before I get myself into trouble, that Chard is going to all the right spots tonight. Have a lovely weekend, I think I'm going to Chico tomorrow if tonights happy feet don't get me trouble. :-)

Happy Painting xoxox
